Setting aside what we know about his directing work, did his regional cv provide a foundation for Bernie's old job? I confess I never paid that much (or much of any) attention to his division of labor in those positions, but very few boards let AD's get involved in the more business-y side of things. And slightly tangentially, his track record as a director who was able to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear (Women, Bridges, Pictures...) is not that impressive. |
