| I saw them only on television, and I saw only parts of each. To me the Sher production was nothing special, but it did the job, at least in the parts I saw. The Mayer production seemed ridiculous to me. Jonathan Miller knew how to do that kind of thing. Michael Mayer perhaps does not. |
