| It's a hoot! We laughed and laughed. Highlights include A.J. Homes running through the various Emcees in Cabaret, the Merrily number ("It started out going wrong..."), a great Suffs number anchored by Jenny Lee Stern's Shaina Taub (she also carries on the tradition of skewering Bernadette and Patti) and a bit on Back to the Future that I don't want to spoil. I've unintentionally left out the 4th performer, Chris Collins-Pisano, who may have been my very favorite. I'm alway amazed at how much the performers can make their singing voices sound like the actors they are skewering, but his Ben Platt is particularly hilarious. | |
