…and would concur it was “okay,” but I absolutely loved the staging of the curtain call encore of “The Best of Times.” I’m curious: did you also see the Albin understudy?
I also caught Romeo and Juliet, and Hedda Gabbler. The cast in the latter was rather uneven, but the combination of Marber’s exciting translation, Sarah Topham’s Hedda, and Tom McCamus’s Brack ultimately made for a thrilling evening that changed how I see the play. If you can catch it, I’d recommend it. R&J seems to have been only marginally better than Twelfth Night. |
