| Yes, I agree about the Best of Times curtain call encore. And yes we saw the Albin understudy who was fine but missed some of the comedic lines and was not quite up to "I am" but not far off. The regular Albin in also Shylock in Rotten but we saw his understudy there as well. Not sure why McKenna was so bent on setting it in 1967 summer of love since she did little with it except for the characterization of Feste. I read her director's notes but still question the rationale . Unfortunately will not be able to see Hedda or Brack or R&J this time around since we have been traipsing across Canada for the last three weeks and just arrived home last night. |
