| I think the OP is contemplating a commercial, ie Broadway, production which, as excellent as this production is, would be much more expensive to mount and conventional wisdom would probably require bigger names. We were in Stratford this week as well and saw this production which was quite good though I felt Peacock's interpretation was a bit too intense from the beginning. Also saw an okay La Cage, a fun Something Rotten and a rather dismal Twelfth Night. |
