| "Plain & Fancy" is apparently periodically revived in Pennsylvania at least. A friend of mine did it a few years ago. It'll take a while to see which shows of more contemporary performers will be revived as much as classics like "Damn Yankees" and "Oklahoma!" in the future though. Even ten years down the road, some shows get lost and some others rediscovered. It's kind of testament to the creators of shows from 1930s like "Of Thee I Sing", the 1940s and 1950s like the Rodgers & Hammerstein, etc. still are stageworthy and enjoyable. |
