BroadwayTonyJ, are you saying that you think the presumably straight character was looking to have a physical (ie, not straight) relationship with the gay character? I didn’t get that sense from the Signature production. I didn’t think either of them was looking for a romantic partner in the other. They are both very lonely and want to connect, but I didn’t feel like either of them was looking to date the other. I’m curious what others think.
