It's not the easiest show to do as well as it should be done, as the last Broadway revival proved. My issues there were more with the look and feel of the production than any of its performances.
Lois Nettleton was a last-minute replacement for Lee Remick, whose cancer had sadly returned, in the Los Angeles production you saw. |
