| Yes, it would be a lot of fun to see someone who's actually funny in the role again. First SJP and now Sutton... sorry, I don't find either very naturally funny. Sutton can be delightful, and she can do comedy, but while she has an amusing and lite way about her I don't find her to be bringing comedy I find her to be trying. Carol is naturally funny. As is Bonnie... who could also bring the vocal power to "Shy" that it very much needs and that Sutton doesn't have currently. The entire joke of the song is he being demur and then when she sings that she's shy a big voice bursts out of her, Sutton doesn't do that. Sigh. And for the record, I do love Sutton in the right role. |
