Many happy returns to Patrick Adiarte, born Aug. 2, 1943, the dynamic young dancer who played Wang San in ''Flower Drum Song'' in 1958 on Broadway and then re-created his role for the 1961 Rodgers & Hammerstein movie musical. Adiarte made his Broadway debut as a royal child in ''The King and I,'' and played Prince Chulalongkorn in the 1956 Oscar-winning film version. Adiarte was a rare Asian-American dancer who appeared in the late '50 and '60s on TV, and was featured on ''Hullabaloo.'' His other TV credits include ''Hawaii Five-O,'' ''The Brady Bunch'' and ''M*A*S*H,'' where he was Ho-Jon, Hawkeye's cabin boy. What a shame Adiarte didn't get more opportunities to dance on Broadway, but some of his fancy footwork lives on, thanks to YouTube.
