"Oh Hello" did very well in the last decade, aa did "Fish in the Dark" when Larry David was in it. I think this is where "Oh Mary" fits in - its a star - driven loose comedy- I wouldn't describe Oh Mary as being tightly written enough to be a farce, and when/if Escola moves on to something else the show should close barring an absolutely perfect replacement
