Thank you so much Wayman for posting the link to 92nd Street Y discussion. Excited to watch it.
I think that's a beautiful take on a somewhat frenetic song. I honestly think the reason why the Broadway revival did work as well as it did (while still not my favorite version) is because of Maria Friedman. It started with her. Her close association and understanding of the show brought it some necessary visible heart.
