| You heard incorrectly. Your first supposition was “theatregoer” but what he is saying is “playgoer”. Do you really think Sondheim, who cared about every syllable and breath of his hard work would let that slide? Maybe in performance when Zero ran wild after opening but not on the album of record! | |
