That was very interesting and I was glad to hear John Johnson's sunny outlook on the current state and future of Broadway. I was also very surprised to hear the Stereophonic cast is getting $5,000 a week. That seems like a large salary for unknown actors of an off-Broadway hit with no guarantee of success, but good for those actors for collectively bargaining!
I'm wondering if anyone here knows, would the extension to January be another round of contract negotiation? Or do producers have the option to extend even if the run has been initially announced as limited? |
