| That would mean they're giving up 70% of their weekly paycheck, which doesn't make any sense. The equivalent of what you're suggesting would mean you were taking home only $360/week from your Broadway salary of $1,200, which also would not make any sense and indeed was not the case. But it's clear you're determined to believe $5,000 a week is barely enough to scrape by in a city where the average person's salary is only a fraction of that, so I will stop trying to reason with you on this subject. |
