The Philharmonic's Company concert was similar. I went the first night and was deeply unimpressed.
By the second or third performance, people here were raving about it and it was getting filmed for PBS.
And that would, presumably, have had more than the three days' rehearsal this did. (They sent a "starting rehearsals today" press release on Monday.) |
