| Last night's Follies performance was the annual gala fundraiser for The Transport Group Theater Company. I can't fathom how much money it could possibly make considering all the forces involved. I figure it has to pay for a company to organize the gala, Carnegie Hall, advertising, orchestra, chorus, huge roster of Bway performers--all for just one sold out performance. Anyone here understand the economics of galas? |
