I got completely soaked. I was hoping to get into Mother Play off the cancellation line, and when that didn't happen, I went to TKTS to try to get a ticket to Appropriate, but they didn't have any more, so then I went to the Belasco and got the last ticket for that performance at the box office. I was seated right as the lights were coming down.
So I only walked a few blocks and had a small umbrella, but I don't think I've ever been that soaked before in such a short amount of time. My clothes were completely soaked, and my wallet, which I've literally had for over 20 years, will never be the same. My shoes are still wet, 24 hours later. |
