I'm lucky that I'm not really bothered by getting wet in general. If you threw me into a pool, it wouldn't bother me. The rain was warm, and fortunately, the theater wasn't cold, although towards the end of the first act, I was starting to feel chilly. I had a light jacket with me in my bag, so at intermission, I took off my shirt and put the jacket on instead. It wasn't great, but it was fine.

By the way, in response to DistantDrumming's message about sightlines for Appropriate, my seat was sold as partial view for $49, and it was a reasonable choice for $49. It was in the last row of the balcony (I think the entire balcony is being sold as partial view, although most of it for a lot more than $49). I could not see people above the waist if they were on the second floor, but it was in the center so it was full view in that sense. There was a vertical pole in the sightline, but it was pretty narrow and a non-issue in terms of being able to move your head around it. And it's not that far back - the mezzanine starts at Row J in the orchestra, and the balcony starts at Row C in the mezzanine, and I was in Row G of the balcony. I could not see facial expressions well, though, but if I had binoculars, I think this would have been a fine choice for the price.

For the second act, they let me stand in the standing room area at the back of the orchestra, which was better in terms of not having anything cut off, but the street noise is significant. Also, the people seated in the couple of rows in front of me were not great patrons: talking, looking at their phones, etc. The balcony audience was extremely well-behaved.
