Sondheim at the Doyle

The items on offer are lower-level scraps, but still interesting to see. Many puzzles and games, posters, photos, books.
Various bits of furniture, showing use.
If you love Sondheim, even this small glimpse into his life Is worthwhile. I found that seeing a box of his favorite pencils, with one missing, was quite moving. Others may just see a room full of junk.
I went after a visit to the Met yesterday. Not overcrowded at the time. If you go, be sure to stop at the front desk. In addition to the usual auction notes they are giving out a Playbill created for this sale. You only have until Monday to see it.
