I have never seen a production of Bye Bye Birdie, so when tickets went on sale, I bought tickets for 2 performances. I thoroughly enjoyed this production. I loved the exuberant choreography as performed by the talented ensemble. Christian messed up one of his lines Tuesday evening, and his ad libs to get back on track were hysterical. I've seen Krysta Rodriguez in "In the Heights", and as Anita in a concert version of West Side Story, but I felt she really soared as Rosie. Had there been any affordable tickets available, I would have gladly gone a third time. In comparing the two performances, Tuesday's was definitely tighter.
