It's been pretty well documented that the show was developed around whatever songs they could get the rights to -- no shot that Olivo's voice factored into any of the major decision-making ... other than perhaps slight deviations in key?
(As an aside, I always found it funny that Andrew Lloyd Webber claimed that the female love interest role in SCHOOL OF ROCK was written expressly for Sierra Boggess, and yet she sounded ... not very good on those songs.) |
