| Can’t explain it because, to me, Suffs has a momentum of storytelling that most sung through shows are missing. It’s a freight train and each one of the songs delivers a distinct moment/emotion and moves the plot along. Each song changes a character or a situation - unlike some other scores this season which used a song to sit in one moment or theme and repeat it for 5 minutes. |
