| I've enjoyed Scott in the past, but he's in danger of being overexposed. He deserved an Oscar nomination for ''All of Us Strangers,'' and I'm looking forward to seeing him in ''Present Laughter'' (but not so much his one-man ''Uncle Vanya''). I'm skipping ''Ripley,'' the 8-part miniseries on Netflix. At 47, he looks too old to play the title character, and it's hard for me to believe it's any better than the terrific 1999 film starring Matt Damon and Jude Law. |
