| Transportation is now more of a problem too.Subway service some feel late at night is a deterrent to seeing shows. The 7 p.m. changes on some nights do help, bur less trains especially on weekends and track work starting around 9 p.m.add to annoying travel.I hear there are police more than ever in the subways but never see any. On 44th St.and 8th Ave. plenty of people don't pay to ride, they just slide by or hop over the turnstiles, no one is there to prevent this nightly.Also few people dress up any to see a show because you don't want to be noticed at 10 p.m. riding home on a train. Safety concerns are a major deterrent to spending a night out now a days. |
