why not add back "Nice She Ain't" for Herbie to give him some more to do, as well as the number for the two little girls "Momma's Talkin' Soft". The latter number, a good song and still referenced in "Rose's Turn", was not meant originally to be cut. Apparently the only way it was seen to be feasibly staged originally due to the stagecraft available at the time involved the number being sung on a very high platform. One of the girls was extremely scared of performing so high up, so in deference to either Baby June or Baby Louise, the number was cut. It has been included, as well as "Nice She Ain't", on "Lost in Boston" or one of those albums, and it's a lively, fun number with the little girls well aware of Rose's modus operandi even at that young age. Granted, the show is otherwise pretty perfect, but since new things are being done with it as far as spelled out in the casting calls, it seems as good a time as any to add the additional material.
