| Rose, still seeking the spotlight after her children have become professionals as adults, becomes a senior stripper at the fraternity clubs and retirement homes she used to have June and Louise play as chldren. She uses old costumes that have been passed down to her from her famous stripper daughter. She finally gets some gratification as her act is known thereafter as "Madame Rose'n Kavalier". Herbie repents and comes back to be the Kavalier as her dresser/undresser in the act. She proves herself to be very versatile after all. A great place for Herbie to sing "Nice She Ain't", which had been cut from the original production. |
