I didn't watch the TV version. The stage version was quite enough, thank you. LOUD and breakneck fast. Despite being LOUD, I couldn't understand half of the dialog. I'm willing to accept stylized performances, but that was ridiculous.

A footnote: I couldn't understand half the words Michael Stuhlbarg said during The Patriots. I was so surprised. He's such a good actor and I didn't have any problem understanding his Hamlet in the park a few years ago. Did others have trouble understanding him and the Brit who played the oligarch? Was this a decision? I understood everyone else in the cast so it wasn't my hearing aids.
