So many good Sherman Brothers songs and projects. I’m still waiting for the Bedknobs and Broomsticks stage show to open on the West End and then NYC.

Other than Mary Poppins on Broadway, which could have featured more of the Sherman Brothers music, my only other Broadway exposure to them I think is Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. I had a great time back in the day, thanks to their music and a solid comedic performance from the late Jan Maxwell. Plus the car! It was truly scrumptious. Not sure there were many fans here in the US but it ran longer in the UK and I still listen to the recording from time to time.

RIP Richard Sherman
