I'm STILL scratching my head over that one. Elena Rogers was the toast of London. A real Argentine was playing Evita!
When she came to Bway with the show, she was just terrible. NO charisma, no voice--plus the production itself was utterly lacking in creativity. THIS was a hit in London??? |
