| Contrary to popular belief, Oklahoma! Was not the first cast album. As with many things, the west end lead the way. I've heard the London cast recording of Irene done in 1920 with Edith day. I have also heard a 1920s recording of Helen Morgan in can't help lovin Dat man. Others? |
