Thanks, Violet, for the report! I really enjoyed the Apple TV series, but can't make it to D.C. now. I, too, hopes it makes it to Broadway.
By the way, the original ''Brigadoon'' is getting a new book this summer by Scottish playwright Rona Munro at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre in London.
In this revival, Tommy and Jeff are World War II fighter pilots who have crash-landed in Scotland. Hope it works. I LOVE this Lerner & Loewe score! |
