I don't see the same seats offered on TeleCharge on SeatGeek as well. The SeatGeek seats are a whole different animal. But they sure have a lot more seats available than TeleCharge. But nothing in the balcony. If you want balcony, go to TeleCharge. My questions are 1. What is the precise source of SeatGeek seats. 2. What happens to those many, many seats if they don't get sold by the day of performance or right up to curtain time? Are they just left empty? I've never paid much attention to that dynamic. Whenever I've seen empty seats in the orchestra section, for example, it tends to be in an inverted "V" at the rear of the orchestra section -- and not scattered around that might suggest a mass of unsold tickets that people had tried to resell via SeatGeek because of inability to attend. |
