| There are many that deserve the Kennedy Center Honor, but will probably go to their grave without it, and there are countless that are already gone. Besides Liza, the ballerina Allegra Kent deserves it. That being said, the honor used to have more cachet, like the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, than now. I've stopped watching the ceremony, the last batch of honorees I wasn't impressed with. Obviously it's so political who gets the nod and who doesn't. I understand why Liza doesn't bother, not the least of which, she's probably not traveling these days. |
