| Why do you say this? Sure, it has one song not on the Chita recording, and more dialogue which is nice to hear but not essential for a cast recording. But it has many cuts in the dance music, and although Williams is talented and I like her recording a lot, Chita is a legend the likes of which she is not, and the role was tailored for her, and it includes the Tony winning performances of Carver and Crivello, and many of the same cast members are also on both recordings. |
