I haven't listened to the Williams album in a while, but I do agree that Mitchell and McGillin are great to hear. The keys for all 3 leads are tailored quite a bit, which is fine. BUT - I remember finding the orchestrations for "Here You Are" in particular sounding just a bit tinny in that higher key. I also much prefer how the key relationships work in the Chita version of the title song. But to be fair, it should be noted that the original form of the song (assumedly to be sung by Molina?) had no modulations internally at all - the whole song was in the same key, and it was vocally a huge 2-octave span. Though I still like the keys for the Chita version the best.

But no, I don't feel this album is "definitive." Just an option. Chita's take on Aurora is, to me, the definitive of the two.
