| Actually, we don't have enough info to opine. The crime fiction would need to be in the nature of an adaptation of an extant story. I see some titles where that is possible but I doubt that is the broad intention here. An example would be "Everybody Ought to Have a Maid." If I wrote a Robin Hood story based on the title, it is not fair use because I am not using anything even arguably copyrighted. Maybe I will write it this weekend to take my mind off the tragedy. |
