I lucked out with the $47 rush tickets, and received 4th row mezzanine on the aisle. The play is very good, though seems it would be more appropriate at an off Bway house (though the Friedman is one of the smallest on Bway). It also features what I consider Jessica Hecht's best Broadway outing I've seen, including Assembled Parties, Fiddler, and Summer 1976.. But here's a question: Hecht is the only performer listed who does not have an understudy or standby. I don't know if I've ever seen this before. Thoughts? Thx. | |
