Atlantic offered two interim agreements over the past two months that included 13% increases in wages and health, effective immediately in return for a no strike agreement while we continue to bargain in good faith. Both of these offers were ignored.
Look, I don't know the ins and outs... but this wording seems awfully suspect. Did the union really ignore interim offers? Or did they reject them? Because those terms are not synonymous.
Hopefully they will come to an agreement that satisfies both sides. |
