| For me, while I am a big fan of Bowen Yang's, all he did was distract me in every scene he was in. He was doing SNL grimaces and eye rolls and that was about it. But every time the shot included him, I registered him as Bowen Yang, not as a character in the world of Shiz. It was my singular problem with the movie. James didn't fare much better but at least I'm not so familiar with her that she pulled focus in the way Yang did. |
