Lucy's real singing voice is only heard doing "Friendship" (later done on "I Love Lucy") in "DuBarry Was a Lady"; she's otherwise dubbed by Martha Mears in that film. She could usually do an up-tempo like "Friendship" reasonably well, but even her speaking voice had lowered a few tones between "I Love Lucy" and in later years, probably assisted by too much smoking.
