| But maybe Nathan was the priest. That never occurred to me until now. This is referring to the reading that was mentioned on late night talk show (presumably Colbert), by one of the 3, Nathan, Bernadette, or Sondheim... i can't remember who. When I finally saw the show I couldn't imagine who they'd have been in the show I saw, but then I decided it must have just been those two more central roles, just older than they were played in the eventual production. I can 1000% see Bernadette in that Rachel Bay Jones role. I can also see Nathan doing the Cannavale role, but not as naturally perhaps. Which now makes me wonder if he was the priest. |
