| Also in that opening sequence, you can see someone riding a horse kind of parallel (but completely unseen) to the gang on the yellow brick road (this and other fun trivia and easter eggs I learned from New Rockstars' Youtube video about the movie). I believe that is actually Elphaba riding Fiyero's horse and I'm guessing that he (as scarecrow) has to finish the task with Dorothy and then will meet up with Elphaba somewhere else? It's been 20 years since I saw the stage show so I don't really remember what happens in this sequence then. But that's my guess for what will happen in the movie. |
