Frankly social media is the dominant way of influencing the public. I don't think she is the only performer trying to promote herself or trying to get projects using social media.
Yes. But it would seem her timing sucks. The time to do that is early on, not when the movie is about to premiere or when the Broadway cast is being announced. Why would she be complaining about not being in the Wicked film NOW???
