“Gracefully withdrew”? That’s not how I remember it at all.
Wasn’t there a production of “Crazy for You” she was doing somewhere (a concert on Long Island?) and she hid the fact that she was unvaccinated? This was relatively early in the pandemic, I believe. I remember reports at the time that her co-star Tony Yazbeck was pissed off when he found out, especially because he had young kids at home.
Someone correct me if I’m misremembering, but I don’t think she displayed much grace in the situation. Or that she withdrew. She was fired when she was found out.
