Do you worry about dying on your way to the theater? Walking through Times Square? On the subway or bus? I am thinking not. And no, I am not merely talking about my own personal inconvenience, I am talking about how expensive these measures are in an environment when costs are choking Broadway, and I am talking about how unpleasant it all is when Broadway is in desperate need of creating welcoming experiences to its customers who-- unlike all of us on this board who will attend no matter what-- are not choosing Broadway the way that they used to.
No need to call me pathetic for voicing my thoughts. |
