Yes! We absolutely have the right to boycott ... but with rights come responsibilities.

What is our responsibility to all the LGBTQ+, people of color, women, and other employed by Sunset Blvd.? I think it's to make sure we are 100% certain that a boycott is warranted before we take actions that could harm them.

Roman has now equated Scherzinger with Project 2025, and people on other message boards are stating, as fact, that she is a right-wing MAGA nut job. This is a major stretch. There's simply no record that she has ever publicly advocated for, donated money to, or otherwise taken any real actions to further laws or government policies against our communities.

If there was any lesson from this week's horrible election, it's that the angry, cancel-culture mob is not working -- it's having the opposite reaction. So what's the first thing we do after the orange clown gets voted into office? We boycott .... Nicole Scherzinger? I think we owe it to ourselves to focus on more effective ways of advocating those you mention, and we owe it to all the actors, musicians, and production staff in Sunset Blvd. to not let our emotions of this week get in the way of reason and facts.
