I saw the tour also, shortly before lockdown, but it wasn’t the last show. That honor goes to a high school production of SWEENEY TODD, since a coworker’s kid was in the ensemble. I confess I have another reason for being glad I went to this, not just to support a friend and high school drama.
The show we saw a few days before this was the updated (but still awful) version of ROCKABYE HAMLET.
And it would have been ghastly to endure lockdown, thinking THAT might have been the last live theatre I’d ever seen….
