I'm not sure what I said to inspire such a bothered tone from you. But yes. I forgot that it wasn't cut from the OBC, but added / added back.

Yes, I like them. I prefer the song with the "Mother's romantic" section, i think it sounds truncated without it. Because it is literally is. The "pack up the luggage/unpack the luggage" do not flow as logically or harmoniously, to me, right into "mother's surviving." It works much better when the 3 perspective-giving focuses of the song, Daughter, Mother, Grandmother, each use the central "pack up/la la" melody to have a 1 line comment on Desiree's actor life that sums up their take, culminating in Desiree's "surviving". What was done on Broadway I think wasn't the best edit of the song, and I'm glad it was restored or finessed or whatever it was for the London and tour version. Anyone who'd like to hear what we're talking about can listen at the link.

And whether the actual show in performance needs those "hot water" and "stage manager" lines, I think they're funny and make for a bit of added fun for the experience of it on the album.

However it came to be that the OLC has a few minor things the OBC doesn't, it makes me prefer it just slightly. But while I love the cast's performances on the OLC I do not *prefer* them to the OBC, so that album wins.
